1.) An array is a group of a pre-determined number of components all of the same data type.
2.) Dynamic arrays are created during instantiation.
3.) The base address is the memory location of the first array component.
1.) How can there be a demension to an array?
2.) Can you construck an array to organize your components by size? ex. smallest to largest?
1.) Can you construct an array to hold two types of data?
1. Some of the basic operations performed on a one-dimension array are to initialize the array, input data, output data stored in the array, and to find the largest and/or smallest element in the array.
2. The algorithim to find the smallest array is similar to the algorithim for finding the largest element in an array.
3. You can use shallow copying in arrays.
1.Why do you need to find the largest and smallestelement in an array.
2.What is the point of printing arrays.
1. I can tell I am going to be so lost when we do a program using arrays.
1) a one-dimensional array is an array arranged in list form.
2)the base address is the location of the first array value.
3)we use for loops to initialize and read values into an array
1) Is there a way to make an array that keeps expanding until the last value is entered?
2) What number does the java index always start at?
1) The use of a for loop would be an efficient way to assign values to each index.
1. an array is a collection of a fixed number of components
2. initial values are placed between braces and seperated by commas
3. we use maxindex to find the highest number
1. Are we learning anything new about arrays?
2. is there different ways of useing arrays(for example(GUI output instead of SOP))
1)In an array all the components of the data are of the same type
2)index is used to access an array component
3)the index of an array starts at 0 and counts up
1)is there any limit to an array? number wise.
2)what is an arraylist?

1.) An array is a collction of fixed numbers of components, wherein all the components are of the same data type.
2.) An array is an object.
3.) In Java, [] is an operator called array subscripting operator.
1.)What is an alternate way to declare an array?
2.) Where are the initial values placed when declaring an array.
1. Arrays are more complicated and can be confusing. However they are very useful and can allow us to create more sophisticated programs.

1. A one-dimensional array is an array in which the components are arranged in list form.
2. indexExp is called the index and is an expression whose value is a non-negative integer less than the size of the array.
3. Arrays that are created or instantiated during the program execution are called dynamic arrays.
1. Why do you need to know the size of the array?
2. Why don’t you have to use new when you declare and initialize an array?
1. Arrays are more complicated then anything we have learned prior but I can see them being a great help in the future.

1.) A one-dimensional array is an array in which the components are arranged in a list form.
2.) the statement… int [] num= new int[5]; creates am array with 5 components.
3.) When declaring and initialzing arrays, the size of the arrays is determined be the number of initial values within the braces.
1.) When you are asking for a value in an array it starts counting at 0.. correct?
2.) Can you use methods in an array?
1.) Geez, starting arrays now.. with only a few days of school left ! Thats crazy! They are confusing!!
